Lasting Impressions

Lasting Impressions was established in 2015, which specializes in live plants, silk designs, and fresh flowers for both home and commercial building sites. We also design for sympathy, weddings and other special events. We ensure quality service to clients and create designs for any type of atmosphere or occasion. Professionalism and active listening to collaborate with each client is extremely important when coming up with the best solution for each clients vision. We utilize color schemes, specialty themes, trends whether modern or vintage styles when working with clients.

Tricia

Tricia Vandermeer is the owner and designer of Lasting Impressions. Her passion is working with colors, textures, and design ideas for both fresh flowers/silks and plant-scaping. Tricia was raised on a farm and agriculture has been a part of her everyday life, along with a strong work ethic taught at a young age. Her background work experience is in management and customer service in retail settings for over 30 years. She has completed professional training at Kishwaukee Community College in floral design and interior plant-scaping. She maintained interior plants at the Kishwaukee Campus for one year as a student worker, while attending classes. Her favorite experience has been working with other talented florists for the last 7 years. It allowed her to share ideas and techniques to stay current with the changing trends, she has valued this experience. Currently, she maintains weekly plant services for interior sites and some seasonal exterior planters. This is in addition to taking fresh flower orders and working within her community.
